Product Update

Production: August 27, 2024​

This Product Update provides a summary of changes and enhancements to the existing application that impact all customers. When applicable, it includes changes to functionality that were made to resolve customer-specific issues and that apply to all Tenovos users.

Unless otherwise stated, the availability of each update is as follows:

  • UAT: August 23, 2024
  • Production: August 27, 2024
  • Availability: All Enterprise DAM customers

This product update allows users to perform partial wildcard searches when searching "Within File Name" as part of the targeted search feature in legacy search, as well as search relevancy.

Partial wildcard searches allow users to enter letters that the targeted filename might start with, end with, or contain. Users can specify these letters by placing asterisks before, after, or around them.

For example:

Search Term: cas*
Results: castles.png or cascade_map_diagram.pdf.

Search Term: *cas.jpg
Results: alpacas.jpg or harmonicas.jpg.

Search Term: *cas*
Results: dinnercasserole.jpg or medieval_castle.jpg.

Other Enhancements and Quality Improvements​

  • Stability and performance improvements were made to database queries.
  • Updates were made to increase asset gallery page performance.
  • Resolved an issue that caused metadata edits to not show up on the asset details page.
  • Resolved an issue where search relevancy was improperly splitting a search term when the search term contained a hyphen.
